Adoption Awareness Coalition
The Adoption Awareness Coalition is an alliance of agencies and organizations committed to promoting understanding and visibility of adoption in Northeast Ohio. The Coalition works to:
- promote stability of children and families
- raise public awareness about adoption and children waiting for adoption
- provide educational programs for adoptive, foster families and professionals
Each year, the Adoption Awareness Coalition sponsors a workshop offered by an adoption expert, which is free for Coalition member agency staff and affiliated families and open to the public for a modest fee. The workshop is generally held in November, National Adoption Month. Watch here for details about the 2011 annual workshop.
