Adoptive Family and Teen Support Group

Provides opportunities for families to meet, share their experiences and learn from each other and or featured presenters.

Our Adoptive Family Support Group meets monthly and provides opportunities for families to meet, share their experiences and learn from each other and our featured presenters.  Concurrent meetings are held for teens.  Programming for school-aged children and childcare for preschoolers are available.  Regular social activities are also planned to help adoptive families connect with one another.

Adoptive Family Parallel Groups

Adoption Network Cleveland's Adoptive Family Parallel Groups:  A Therapeutic Educational Series is designed to help adoptive families become aware of, recognize, understand the issues and challenges of adoptive families and gain healthy strategies for their family.  The therapeutic educational series also provides a format in which parents and their children ages 9-14 years of age, through exploration of personal experiences, can create a sturdy foundation on which to build long-term healthy family structures.

Weaving Cultures Transracial Adoptive Family Group

The Transracial Adoptive Family Group is for families who have been formed through transracial adoption.

The purpose of this group is to offer a setting where both children and adults can form relationships and be around other families who share similar experiences.  It allows kids to play, parents to visit and everyone to eat.  Please bring something to grill and a side dish or desert to share.
