Our General Support and Discussion Meetings are a place where you can find a safe and supportive environment to help with life issues that are often part of the adoption experience. General Meetings are held in four locations each month, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in Northeast Ohio and are open to any adult adoptee, adoptive parent, birthparent, prospective adoptive parent, professionals or any interested in lifelong adoption issues.

The Rocky River meeting is held on the first Thursday of every month at the West Shore Unitarian Church, 20401 Hilliard Drive, Rocky River.

Maple Heights Library - Get Real

A peer support group for youth in foster care.
Get Real is an educational and supportive group for teens in foster care that provides a safe place for them to share their experiences and explore their feelings about foster care and adoption. The group is co-led by a member of the Adoption Network Cleveland staff and a young adult who aged out of foster care or was adopted as a teen who is able to share personal challenges and accomplishments with teens who are currently in foster care.
Get Real provides a great opportunity for teens to listen to others share their experience; to talk about their own experiences of foster care; and to share their hopes for the future in a safe and supportive environment.
Meetings are held in two locations each month and include a light supper and activities. The group is open to teens 13-17 years old who are in permanent custody or PPLA in Cuyahoga County.
