The following volunteer opportunities would be appropriate for businesses, scout troops, youth groups, service organizations or other groups.
Mailing Support Teams – 5-8 individuals per team/mailing
Adoption Network Cleveland produces two or three bulk mailings each month. We appreciate groups who can collate, label, organize, and package these mailings according to the US Post Office reuirements. We are able to give your group advance notice of a week or more on most occassions and provide all the materials needed. These mailings are a crucial part of our communication with our diverse membership and we appreciate the help!
Special Event Assistance – 2-15 individuals per event
Throughout the year, Adoption Network Cleveland hosts a variety of events that groups can help with set-up, registration, greeting, clean-up or other activities. Annual events include the Benefit Bash, the Adoption Walk, and the Annual Meeting in November. In addition, we have other smaller events that happen periodically, including fundraisers, membership outreach events, and open houses where we can also use your group's assistance.
Clean-Up Crew – 2 individuals, bi-weekly, could alternate 8-10 people
On a bi-weekly basis, Adoption Network Cleveland could use pairs of individuals who would be responsible for light housekeeping around the office and taking care of paper recycling.
Consulting – 2-4 individuals on an as-needed basis
Does your company or firm have administrative, human resource, financial, or marketing expertise or training tools that could be beneficial to Adoption Network Cleveland? Volunteering this knowledge is a great way to help us create a stronger infrastructure. Your assistance helps us ensure that we are providing the best programming to the community.

Besides volunteering, there are other ways that your group can help Adoption Network Cleveland.
Fundraising at your place of business
Why not have a donate-to-dress-down day and give the proceeds to Adoption Network Clevland? Or have a 50/50 raffle? Or host a benefit at your location? There are lots of ways to raise funds to support Adoption Network’s programs and services and we welcome ways to work with you!

Sponsorship or in-kind donations
Don’t want to host your own fundraiser? How about sponsoring one of Adoption Network’s? Or donating food or supplies to an event or a program? We are always open to partnership for an event and we have a variety of in-kind donation needs for events, programs and the people we serve.

Adoption Friend-raising
Another way that you can help us achieve the mission of Adoption Network Cleveland is by hosting an educational speaker on a variety of issues, including adoption-friendly business practices, special topics, personal adoption and foster experiences, and how to adopt in the state of Ohio.
