Creating Futures Campaign
Adoption Network Cleveland announces its Creating Futures Campaign. In response to the tremendous success of the Adopt Cuyahoga’s Kids Initiative, Adoption Network Cleveland received a very generous $400,000 challenge grant from the Skirball Foundation in New York City to establish the William N. Skirball Endowment Fund, which will provide support for the Kids Initiative and other innovative programming related to adoption. All gifts directed to the endowment fund will be matched one to one until August 15th.
To date, $300,000 has been raised toward the $400,000 challenge grant. We need your help to raise an additional $100,000 by August 15th in order to receive the entire match from the Skirball Foundation.
The Creating Futures Campaign also allows the organization to build capacity and sustain its service to the community. In addition to individual donors, the Campaign has also received support from the Cleveland Foundation, the George Gund Foundation, the William J. and Dorothy K. O’Neill Foundation, the Roy A. Hunt Foundation, the Reinberger Foundation, the Nord Family Foundation, the John P. Murphy Foundation, the Thomas H. White Foundation, the Stocker Foundation, the Howard E. Stark Charitable Foundation, the Helen and Louis Stolier Family Foundation the Kvetko Foundation and Cleveland Social Venture Partners. Corporations supporting the Campaign include Charter One Bank, Eaton Corporation, Lubrizol Foundation and Dworken and Bernstein via a class action reverter.
Serving as Campaign Co-Chairs are Annamarie and and Bill Brancovsky and Sue and Mark Hollingsworth. Adoption Network Cleveland Board of Directors Chairperson Madeline Cain states, “The Campaign, and the Campaign leadership, all exude energy and excitement. It all bodes well for a bright future for Adoption Network Cleveland.”
