Sarah LaTourette Kayser
Sarah LaTourette Kayser joined the Adoption Network Cleveland team in August 2012 as the Executive Assistant. After graduating from Miami University (Ohio) in 2006 with a double major in political science and history, Sarah pursued a career in politics. During the 2006 election, she worked for a county political party in northeast Ohio. Following the election, Sarah moved to Louisville, Kentucky and set to work at a small political advocacy firm. After five years with the company, Sarah decided it was time for a change and transitioned into the nonprofit sector. She accepted the position of Office Manager with a regional nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and their families.
Recently, Sarah and her husband decided to relocate back home to the Cleveland area. Instantly impressed by the mission of Adoption Network Cleveland and their recognition that adoption is truly a lifelong journey, Sarah is thrilled to become a part of the team.
Sarah dedicates much of her free time to animal rescue and advocacy, mainly through the local Golden Retriever rescue. Holding various leadership positions with the organization, her most rewarding role is that of foster parent. Sarah has fostered over fifty dogs for the organization, many of whom are special needs or behaviorally challenged. One of her favorite quotes, Sarah truly believes that, "Through the love of those I have been privileged to rescue, I have been rescued too."
Sarah married her best friend in 2010 and currently resides with him, their three dogs and one cat in Chagrin Falls.
