  eligibility determinations\, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)\, 5
 04 Plans\, discipline\, expulsion hearings\, transition planning and guard
 ianships. She is an active volunteer for Adoption Network Cleveland and pr
 ovides education guidance and advocacy for families that may not otherwise
  be able to hire an advocate. She and her husband have two adopted childre
 n. She is passionate about her work because she has a brother and son with
  special needs. She is particularly devoted to serving children in foster 
 or adoptive families because she understands that these children often exp
 erience early childhood separation\, trauma and housing transitions that c
 reate unique needs and challenges in the education setting. Ms. Griffith a
 nd her family reside in Cleveland Heights where she is active in the Paren
 t Teacher Association. She also serves on the Board of the non-profit Fami
 ly to Family Support Network. \n\n
