 ern world with the reality of being a Black girl whose earliest identity h
 ad been left behind. Now a pre-law student and founder of Abera Adoptee Co
 aching\, she continues to explore the intersections of adoption\, race\, m
 ental health\, and belonging\, and looks forward to sharing the ongoing he
 aling journey that has emerged from her experiences in Ethiopia\, in Ameri
 ca\, and in reconnecting with her family and homeland.\n\nAbout Rebka:\nRe
 bka Lile is an Ethiopian adoptee\, writer\, and speaker whose work centers
  on identity\, loss\, and belonging in intercountry adoption. Adopted to O
 hio at age ten after spending her early childhood in Ethiopia\, she has sp
 ent years navigating the tension of holding Ethiopian roots\, life in a Mi
 dwestern world\, and a Black American identity. She is a pre-law student a
 t The Ohio State University and the founder of Abera Adoptee Coaching\, wh
 ere she draws on ICF-aligned training and her lived experience to support 
 adoptees as they process their stories and build lives of agency\, communi
