  support groups for parents who have adopted children outside of their own

 \n\nJanelle Poskocil\nJanelle brings over 20 years of experience in educat
 ion and social services. She loves to support families by creating support
 ive communities that empower and encourage. She is mom to four transracial
 ly adopted children who are now young adults. Her journey over the past tw
 enty-five years has taught her that adoption is complex. As Program Coordi
 nator for Families and Youth at Adoption Network Cleveland\, Janelle is re
 sponsible for implementing responsive support and education opportunities 
 for parents\, caregivers\, and youth in adoptive\, foster and kinship fami
 lies.\n\nLiz Gordon-Canlas\nLiz Gordon-Canlas is an adoptee\, advocate\, a
 nd community leader whose work is shaped by her lived experience as an ide
 ntical twin adopted from foster care. She is deeply committed to elevating
  the voices\, needs\, and rights of adoptees—particularly around access to
  original birth certificates\, medical records\, and truthful narratives a
 bout identity and family. Liz has presented regionally and nationally on a
 doptee-centered policy reform and was a featured speaker at the Ohio CASA 
 Celebrate Kids! Conference\, where she shared her story of transracial ado
 ption and the lifelong impact of connectedness\, belonging\, and truth.
