Scott Holchin’s journey to helping families as an OhioKAN Navigator began at home as a foster dad and eventually an adoptive father of four siblings. That experience has given Scott a firsthand understanding of the challenges families can face and taught him the importance of listening, understanding each family’s unique situation, and offering support without judgment.

 

Before becoming an OhioKAN Navigator, Scott spent years working as a project manager for small contracting businesses. His experience managing projects, solving problems, coordinating resources, and working through complicated situations has given him practical skills that he now brings to his work with families.

 

Scott combines his professional experience with his personal journey as a foster and adoptive dad to help families identify their needs, find practical solutions, and connect with available resources and support.

 

His goal is simple: to listen, understand, and lend a hand when families need it most.
