Participants at this quarterly workshop for professionals and foster or adoptive parents will develop a better understanding of the different types of trauma and stress children experience, how trauma affects the brain and how trauma affects behaviors.

Lindsey Hoffman, LISW-S, ECMH In-Home Therapist and Clinical Supervisor at Applewood Centers, will present. There is no cost to attend. Social Work and Counselor CEUs (2) are available for Adoption Awareness Coalition members at no cost and are available for non-coalition members for $10.
