Nominations are now open for Adoption Network Cleveland’s annual Advocate of the Year Award.
The Advocate of the Year Award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Adoption, Child Welfare, or DNA Discovery fields or community in Ohio as demonstrated by a specific accomplishment, project, program, or milestone meeting one or more of the following criteria:
Contributed through exceptional volunteer efforts
Influenced the wider community through their advocacy and outreach efforts
Improved the lives of individual children and teens in foster care
Enhanced the experiences of adoption constellation members by providing information, advocacy, or other support.
The following individuals are not eligible for award nomination:
Current ANC Board or staff member
ANC Board or staff position within the past 2 years
Current ANC General Meeting or support group facilitator
The awardee will be chosen by a selection committee and will be presented at Adoption Network Cleveland’s annual meeting in November.
