Adoption Network Cleveland’s General Discussion Meetings provide an opportunity for all those who are impacted by adoption to share their perspectives and learn from each other.

This particular meeting will have a special topic: Belonging to Two Families - How Adoptees Find a Balance
This meeting will discuss and explore loyalty issues adoptees may face as a member of both their adoptive and birth families and learn about the impact of this challenge from the perspective of each triad member involved. Attendees can also learn strategies to handle the stress related to finding a balance in belonging to two families.

This meeting will be a virtual meeting facilitated by Linda and Elaine. Our Virtual General Discussion Meetings meet via the Google Meet platform (which can be accessed through a home computer/laptop, tablet, or mobile phone) and will require an internet connection or phone data connection.

Our General Discussion Meetings with specific topics fill up quickly. Space is limited to ensure a reasonable number of participants to engage in discussion, so please register in advance. We keep a waiting list once we meet the registration limit, so if you are registered and unable to attend, please let us know so we can open that spot up for someone else.
